IPP is a civil society organization without economic purposes (OSCIP), whose main objective is the development of studies and research in various fields of human knowledge, the prospecting of alternative and innovative technologies, as well as developing work in co-execution with other related institutions, thus anticipating potential demands of the Brazilian and global industry.

Manoel Santos Azevedo

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2014), M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2006), Bachelor's in Data Processing from the Federal University of Amazonas (UEA), Licensed in Mathematics from the Federal University of Amazonas (1985), and Professor at the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA).

Manoel Azevedo, a professor in the Computer Engineering course at the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA), won the National Award from the Academy of Sciences of Cuba for his results in the scientific investigation "Contributions to optimizing energy quality in primary distribution electrical systems". The award was granted by the Center for Electro Energetic Studies at the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas (CEEUCLV), Cuba.
